Step 1:
First you start off with your cut sheets, I believe my envelopes were 4 x 6″ so the black pieces were about 3.75 x 5.75″. Each piece of black paper was cut using my die cutter on high quality card stock. The white paper was high quality card stock which had my halloween party design on it, those were cut with a ruler and a blade to side, just a tiny bit smaller than the black pieces (I eyeballed it but I’m sure you can measure if you like).

Step 1: Gather your supplies and a little bit of patience!
Step 2:
At this point you will either glue or use double sided tape to stick your white card onto your black. Using double sided tape works well if you don’t want any bubbles to appear under your paper. Do this for all 8 cards.

Step 2: Using double sided tape will prevent your cards from warping.
Step 3:
At this point you will take your 1/8th of an inch hole puncher. Mark down with pencil where you
will be punching out the holes making
them even. When you are happy with the placement start punching out holes in the top of your cards. This will be for adding ribbon. Once you have punched all your holes add your eyelets to each hole, this will give it a finished off look.

Step 3: Adding eyelets makes your pieces more finished off
Step 4:
At this point you will thread your rib
bon of choice through the front of the one eyelet, around the back of the card and through the other side to look like this. You can either tie it in a bow or just a knot, whatever you fancy.

Step 4: You can tie it in a knot... you can tie it in a bow...
Step 5:
You’re almost finished! Now you can embellish them or leave them plain! You could add spooky stamps, spooky embellishments or whatever you think would fit. I ended up choosing just a few acrylic gems to finish mine off with.

Step 5: Embellish them or leave them plain.
Now you’re finished! What a great way to add a bit of personalization to your cards and customize them to your specific events!
Oooo nice! I may just have to have a party just to make these!
